Another great wrap!

It was so nice meeting some of the class of 2019 tonight! Congrats on all your accomplishments, ladies!

Now I bid you all good night!

Confessions of a sick nursing student

You know that phrase we all hear in medicine that we have to take care of ourselves before we can provide care? Sometimes I forget that and so here I am missing yet another clinical day because of being sick. On the bright side, I'm on the upside of this...cold? I don't know. Aaaaaaand that in 18 hours or so I will actually be on campus for Scholarship Dinner and see some of our accepted students! Yaaaaaaaay!

Oh, that and my research poster came in early. Like a week early and I didn't even have to pay the extra shipping cost :)

Oh the little things. Who's up with me burning the midnight oil? I'm pretending like I'm studying for a test.... Oops.

Do you want to build a snowman?

That was a more appropriate question last night as all 7+ inches of snow is already mush and water :( but Candra and I did have some fun in the snow last night! How did you spend the wintery night?

Digging my car out yet again

The snow hill by my car

No traction for Candra. We had no sleds so we body rolled down the hills of campus lol

Isn't campus gorgeous?

A hundred nights four years in the making

Hello ladies!

Last night was the time old tradition of 100 Nights, a cocktail hour + dinner + superlatives + off campus after party that marks roughly 100 nights before graduation. It was freezing cold but we braved the temperatures in our dresses, took Baltimore by a storm safely in our warm but still stylish gear well into the morning. Here are some shots of our night--LOL

College besties!

Say whaaaaaat?

And the after party begins....

Tons more where that came from!

A lobbyist for a day

Okay not really. Today, we joined with other Independent College students in Md to champion for the Selinger Program and the Capital Matchibg Grant in Annapolis. The first gives us money for financial aid for students and the latter is helpful for our Gibbons project, the massive renovation of Gibbons Hall, our oldest building and symbol of campus! Learned a ton about legislation and about our delegates. It was awesome :)

Awesome Tiffany stained glass at the Miller Senate building

With the awesome Candace Caraco, our chief of staff and fearless leader today

It was cold...

One last selfie before Candace departed for her parties...I mean board meetings ;)

On Ash Wednesday's, we wear ashes with pride

It's Ash Wednesday, the first day of Lent. What meaningful journey of sacrifice and reflection will you start today?

Post Valentine's Day

Hair dyeing fun! Okay my black hair won't retain it much but it's supposed to be auburn red. Hopefully it'll be nice for clinical tomorrow. 100 nights is this week!!

Resurfacing

Good morning! (Okay for me it's currently morning) for the past three days I've been doing night shifts for my senior practicum in a local ICU. It's been AMAZING. Anyway, here's a pic of my "nights" haha

Hello new dawns :) this is as I walk the hospital bridge to my car.

The first night shift was rough, not gonna lie. I was wide awake when I should be sleeping and so sent these snaps to my friends...and then some.

Cheers, ladies!

Just another morning

Good morning ladies! I couldn't resist I had to share this awesome sunrise shot with you from my room in Doyle. Sometimes early mornings aren't so bad if this is what I wake up to :)
